Kursunlu Waterfall (40 minutes)

Antalya old town, Kaleiçi (25 minutes)
Antalya's walled old town is a maze of restored Ottoman houses, boutique hotels and cafés around a Roman harbour, with Hadrian's Gate, the fluted Yivli Minaret and Hıdırlık Tower. It's loveliest in the early evening; a fixed-price drop-off and a late pickup make an easy night out from the resort strip.
Düden Waterfalls (20 minutes)
Close to Kundu, the Düden Waterfalls are a two-part wonder: an upper falls tumbling through a park and cave, and the spectacular lower falls where the river drops straight off a cliff into the sea. The lower falls are best seen from a boat or the clifftop park — a quick, dramatic outing.
Aspendos Roman theatre (35 minutes)
Aspendos has the best-preserved Roman theatre in the world — a vast, near-intact amphitheatre that still hosts concerts and opera. Add the nearby Roman aqueduct and the ancient city of Perge, and it makes a superb half or full day of antiquity, easily reached from Kundu.
Manavgat Waterfall & Green Canyon (55 minutes)
East along the coast, the Manavgat Waterfall is a shady riverside cascade, and just behind it the Oymapınar dam has flooded a gorge into the emerald Green Canyon, where boat trips glide up cool, deep water ringed by pine mountains. Together they make a relaxed nature day.
Köprülü Canyon & rafting (1h15)
For an active day, Köprülü Canyon is the region's rafting centre — easy, family-friendly white-water on the Köprü river, a Roman bridge and the ancient hilltop city of Selge. A morning on the river and a trout lunch by the water is one of the best outings from Kundu.
The Chimaera flames & Olympos (1h35)
South-west of Antalya, the Chimaera (Yanartaş) is a hillside where natural flames have burned from the rock for thousands of years — best seen at dusk — above the romantic, jungle-wrapped Lycian ruins of Olympos and a long pebble beach. A genuinely unusual evening trip.
Sagalassos mountain city (2 hours)
North on the Taurus plateau at around 1,500 metres, Sagalassos is one of Turkey's most spectacular ancient cities, its centrepiece a Roman fountain so completely restored that its water flows again. It's cool at altitude, rarely crowded, and quite unlike the coastal sites — a memorable full day.
Pamukkale travertines (3 hours)
Furthest of the classic trips, Pamukkale is the surreal cascade of white travertine terraces filled with warm turquoise water, with the ruins of Hierapolis above. It's a long day from Kundu, so start very early — but the "cotton castle" is unlike anywhere else on earth.

A few honest tips:
- Match the distance to the day. Land of Legends, Kursunlu, Kaleiçi, Düden and Aspendos are easy half-days; Sagalassos, Pamukkale and the Chimaera evening are longer.
- Go early (or, for the flames, late). Heat and crowds build through the morning; the Chimaera is best at dusk, so time those trips accordingly.
- Bring the basics. Sun protection, water and comfortable shoes for the ruins and canyons; swimwear and a towel for the waterfalls and theme park.
