Düden Waterfalls is Antalya's most photographed natural landmark — and for good reason. The Lower Düden drops 40 metres directly off a limestone cliff into the Mediterranean, a rare phenomenon anywhere in the world. From Kundu hotels, you're a quick 15 km away.
Two waterfalls, two experiences
There are actually two Düden waterfalls:
- Upper Düden — 14 km north of Antalya city, a picnic area with smaller but pretty cascades
- Lower Düden — where the river plunges off the sea cliff. The dramatic one, 12 km from Kundu
Most day trips visit the Lower Düden (the "cliff waterfall"). If you have time, include Upper Düden for variety.
Getting there from Kundu
- Lower Düden: 15 km / 20 minutes. Taxi return: 500–700 TL with 1 hour wait.
- Upper Düden: 25 km / 35 minutes. Taxi return: 700–900 TL.
- Both waterfalls + lunch: Book a half-day tour from your hotel or via us for €40–€60 per person.
Best viewing
Lower Düden is best seen from:
- Park viewing platform (entry 100 TL) — safe, close-up view from the top
- Sea boat tour — starts from Antalya Marina, 1 hour, 400 TL per person — views from below
Upper Düden: walk through the park (free entry), follow the stream to the falls.
Best time
- Morning: light hits the falls directly, best photos
- April–June: water volume is highest after spring thaw
- Avoid winter storms: Lower Düden platform closes when waves hit the cliff
